Alliterative Creamy Ceasar Pea Pasta Shallot Salad
Leftover pasta and old pantry ingredients make a creamy, Ceasary salad.
This is a creamy, garlicky, parmesan-y pasta salad made with old frozen peas, an extra shallot, and leftover wagon wheel pasta. We could have gone with a more mustardy sauce, but the pasta already had a bit of butter on it — and there’s really nothing better than pasta with parmesan.
Ingredients
Half pound leftover pasta
Half a bag of frozen peas
1 shallot
Dressing
Two big tablespoons of mayoannaise
3 to 5 squirts of Lemon Juice
A teaspoon of garlic powder (or more to taste)
Black pepper
Tablespoon of olive oil (add more to thin)
Two pinches of salt
A healthy pile of freshly grated parmesan
Instructions
That frozen peas and drain
Finely dice the shallot
Combine with the leftover pasta
In a separate bowl, mix dressing
Finish dressing to taste—
Add more oil to thin
Add more lemon juice for tanginess
Add more pepper for spice
Add more cheese for savoriness and texture

When dressing is tasty, if strong, combine with salad
